NICK FOWLER
CO-OWNER & Director
Nick is the visionary behind the business. As the founder and owner, he leads the overall strategy, operations, and long-term direction of Pro Karts, Nelson Fun Park, Oceanside Oasis, and Rental Karts New Zealand.
His role spans across daily management, staffing, marketing, event creation, and financial forecasting. With a background in motorsport and a hands-on leadership style, Nick is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for customers while building a strong, reliable team.

FOWLER
CO-OWNER
Business Development & Strategic Growth
Betsy plays a key role in the development and expansion of the business. Her focus is on building partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and driving long-term growth across all locations.
Working closely with Nick on strategic planning and new initiatives, she helps shape the future of the business while also maintaining a supportive and approachable presence on-site.
CHRISTINA
SUTHERLAND
OPERATIONS MANAGER & EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR
Christina leads weekend operations and manages event planning across the business. She brings strong leadership and an organised approach to both staff supervision and customer-facing events.
Her exceptional organisational skills make her highly efficient, ensuring all events and busy periods run smoothly and professionally from start to finish.
TOM
GRIFFIN
Operations Support & Water Quality Manager
Tom has been a long-standing and essential part of the team. He oversees weekday operations support and infrastructure maintenance across all areas.
He also manages water quality for the spa pools, Hydro Slide, and bumper boat pool—ensuring compliance, safety, and cleanliness. His attention to detail and operational knowledge are second to none.
MARK OCARROL
MECHANICAL & ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
Mark is responsible for all mechanical and engineering repairs across our operations. He maintains go-karts, rides, and facility infrastructure, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and up to standard.
From welding to kart component replacement, Mark’s technical expertise keeps our equipment in top shape. He also performs safety checks before repairs are released for use.

Project Manager & Grounds Coordinator
Ben manages landscaping, site presentation, and maintenance task coordination. He assigns jobs, monitors project timelines, and ensures the grounds are kept clean, safe, and welcoming.
From garden maintenance to day-to-day repairs, Ben ensures our site stays functional and looking great for every visitor.

Our young, enthusiastic team members are the heart of our customer service—welcoming guests with a smile, helping families feel at ease, ensuring safety on every ride, and going above and beyond to create lasting memories.
